ESTS Course on Terrorism and Disaster Management

A two day course, open to the public on the first day, addressing aspects of terrorism aiming to prepare European surgeons for casualty management

A two day course with a public and professional part

Day 1:  16 November 2017 will address general aspects of terrorism and preparedness 

Day 2:  17 November 2017 aims to prepare European surgeons for state of the art of medical mass casualty management - from triage at the site of attack to care for individual 

Day 1:

  • Origins and dissemination of terrorism
  • Prevention and management of terrorist attacks

Day 2:

  • On-site management at the site of disaster
  • In-hospital organisation of care for multiple wounded
  • Care of the individual patient
  • Expected and unexpected situations

Registration fees:

16 November 2017: open to general public:  50 euros

16 and 17 November 2017: open to healthcare professionals: Package offered for 300 euros

Registration Deadline:  31 October 2017
