A major event addressing the biogas and biomethane sector in Europe

The EBA 2018 Conference () will cover biogas, syngas and biomethane production. More than 300 biogas representatives are expected to participate in the event, taking place at the Hilton Hotel and the Kinepolis Event Centre of Antwerp. EBA speakers list will include high level policy makers and representatives from leading biogas and biomethane business.

Sessions will focus on the theme of “Greening Gas” from a national and regional perspective, on biogas production and anaerobic digestion best practices, cross-border trading of biomethane, as well as on gasification from R&D to commercialisation. Particular attention will also be paid to the theme of transport, with sessions dedicated to biomethane as a transport fuel and power-to-gas. Speakers will address these issues from a technical, economic, scientific and political perspective.

Call for abstracts

Would you like to present an abstract of your scientific work or project to our audience of more than 300 biogas professionals? EBA cordially invites you to provide an abstract for poster presentation. We are looking for scientific contributions on all conference topics, from academia as well as the industry. We especially encourage young researchers to submit their work.

Topics of the conference include biogas, biomethane and syngas, gasification, biorefineries, upgrading technologies, digestate and many others. Abstracts will be presented through poster presentations during the conference, and evaluated by the EBA Scientific Advisory Council, consisting of acknowledged experts in anaerobic digestion and gasification technologies.

Registrations for the conference are now welcomed via the dedicated website. Prices starting from €250 and €400 are offered for students and EBA members respectively. However, every interested party is able to benefit from an early bird promotional fee until October 15, 2017.
