This year's Conference will analyse how innovation in different areas will be needed to shape the future of energy, including but not limited to technical, social and financial innovation. It will look at how EU policies can help safeguard Europe's competitiveness in a cleaner and more efficient world and what role sustainable finance could play in boosting low-emission technologies and ; 

Participants will be welcomed by Mr. Antonio Brufau, Chairman of Repsol, followed by a keynote speech from a high-level EU representative. A selection of panellists from the EU institutions, industry, finance and academia will address some of these innovation needs, identifying both the opportunities and concerns.
