This webinar will introduce the Demand Response concept, explain its benefits, and provide an overview of the state of the market in Europe. Current barriers to DR will be explored with a special focus on solutions developed through TABEDE (TowArds Building rEady for Demand rEsponse), a Horizon 2020 funded program to help scale DR across multiple building types. TABEDE is developing hardware and software solutions to overcome current barriers, optimise energy consumption and to enable a complete interactions with devices from different manufacturers.
