A play in English by Duncan Macmillan, followed by an interactive post-show talk with Hülya Ertas, Curator at VAl (Flanders Architecture Institute).

For this production of Lungs, The Bridge Theatre has gathered together an international team of creatives from both the UK and Belgium. Seasoned stage and screen actor, Tim Bowie (Guildhall School of Music and Drama) will play opposite recent graduate, Georgina Armfield (Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts), for this 90-minute drama. They will be directed by the award-winning Kate McGregor. The creative team is completed by Charlotte Cooke (Set & Costume Designer), Stef Van Alsenoy (Sound Designer) and Marco Bertozzi (Lighting Designer).

As with all productions of The Bridge Theatre, their hope is to shine a light on a specific socially-relevant topic – in this case sustainability. As such, the run will also include a series of post-show talks by experts working on different angles of sustainability issues. The line-up includes Ellora-Julie Parekh, ESG strategy consultant, Audrey-Flore Ngomsik, CEO Trianon Scientific Communication, Doreen Fedrigo, Industrial Transformation Policy Coordinator at Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe, Audrey Contesse, Director of ICA-WB, and Hülya Ertas, Curator at />
As for the venue for this production of Lungs, The Bridge Theatre has partnered with the temporary occupation, RESET, located in the city centre of Brussels. This former office building, which will one day become the police headquarters, provides a unique and relevant setting in which to enjoy this play.
