This webinar is organised to present an update on EASA’s research project, ‘Impact of security measures on safety’. This project has been implemented by EASA to better understand the scope and nature of interdependencies between aviation safety and security.

As the project’s inaugural year draws to a close, this webinar will offer attendees a comprehensive insight into the project’s progress thus far. It will encompass an overview of the project deliverables to date, including preliminary findings from Task 1 ‘Identifying safety/security dependencies’. Additionally, the webinar will provide a concise preview of upcoming project milestones and detail how stakeholders can actively participate in the study’s research activities.
