“EWP Back to the Future” marks the first edition of the Student Mobility Summit, a new series of high-impact events jointly organised by the University of Barcelona and the European University Foundation. Starting in 2024, the Student Mobility Summit will delve into the policy and practical aspects of advancing more and better-quality student mobility.

For this inaugural event, our focus is on digitalisation. We invite you to join us in Barcelona for three days of thought-provoking discussions as we co-create the future of student mobility in Europe.

EWP has always been an initiative by universities and for universities, emphasizing the importance of keeping colleagues involved in its co-creation processes. “Back to the Future” is precisely designed for this purpose. During the conference, we’ll achieve this through authoritative keynotes, roundtables, and engaging hackathons open to all participants.

But that’s not all. We’re taking another significant step by introducing high-quality EWP training sessions, a feature that has long been requested by our community.

This event is a must-attend for IRO professionals dedicated to student mobility and IT and technical experts from Higher Education Institutions working on digitalisation aspects.
