With digitalisation reshaping the landscape of the construction industry, Building Information Modelling (BIM) is emerging as a valuable tool and collaboration method in the design, construction, maintenance, and management of built assets.

Recognising the significance of integrating BIM in procurement processes for infrastructure projects, the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) of the European Commission is hosting a webinar titled ‘Introduction to Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Procurement Procedures’.

This introductory session will present the concept of BIM within the context of public procurement and explore potential joint activities under the framework of the dedicated Community of Practice.
