Bianca has degrees in architecture, landscape architecture, urban design
and a Ph.D. in health-performative architecture & social design. Bianca’s
former career path includes founding and CEOing two international expert
companies working with evidence-based design and decision-making
design. Additionally, Bianca has worked as an expert consultant for
several public and private companies as well as a number of advisory
boards. Finally, Bianca is adjunct professor at University of Copenhagen
and University of Washington. In 2015, Bianca decided to join the LEGO
Group as director of global design & engagement. At LEGO, Bianca and
her teams in Denmark and Shanghai set the agenda for the physical work
environment across the entire LEGO Group worldwide. This task involves
all scales from designing new production sites, LEGO campus transport,
employee housing, landscaping and parks, employee amenity buildings,
R&D labs, sales offices, interior concepts, graphic branding. The design
& engagement department is a transdisciplinary team of both interior
designers, architects, urban designers, landscape architects, graphic designers,
anthropologists, and process designers. Bianca has been part of
the LEGO Corporate Facility leadership team since 2016.
