Neil J Hall is a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police and a former Royal Navy Officer who is currently with Sussex Police as the Government Agency Intelligence Network (GAIN) Coordinator. He is a Specialist in Maritime Policing and Security, CBRN Counter Terrorism, Critical Incident Management and Illegal Gangs and Irregular Migration and the effect that has on crime globally. During a career that has spanned thirty eight years, both in Law Enforcement and Naval Service, he was frequently involved in the enforcement of international law, as well as humanitarian and disaster relief operations and he has also taken part in a number of wars and conflicts throughout the world. Internationally recognised as an expert in his field he has served on a number of top level Committees and Practitioners Groups and provided advice to a variety of Government, Non Government and Law Enforcement Agencies both at home and abroad. He regularly speaks on his subjects of expertise at venues worldwide, including the UN and NATO, and is a Visiting Lecturer at Greenwich University and a Guest Lecturer at Portsmouth University.
