Maritime Crime

Maritime Crime in industry is ever on the increase. The lack of regulation for the cruising industry and those vessels that fall under the size and draw limits of national bodies has become a recent issue.

In response to fears at seaports and terminals over access to sufficient detection and container scanning solutions to combat the maritime threat, Maritime Crime 2013 will focus upon detection, response and recovery at sea for Naval and Government practitioners. SMi's masterclass hosted by Assistant Commissioner of Police (Ret'd), Neil Hall, will uncover with a multitude of maritime crime threats. This session will look into threats that are often overlooked and underrated as key issues, allowing delegates to gain key insights into the steps needed to mitigate against these threats.  VisitorsThe event is aimed at Security Professionals, Transport Operators, Company, Ship & Port Security Officers, Naval & Military Personnel, and Police, Fire & Ambulance Emergency Responders and other private and public sector professionals that operate in the maritime domain.
