EnRiMa project will be at the “ICT for sustainable Homes” conference and exhibition in Nice, France, on the 24th-25th October 2011, with a dedicated workshop along with other three EU funded projects E3SoHo, SportE2 and Energy Warden.ICT for sustainable homes is an international conference and exhibition organised every year in Nice, France, by Sigma Orionis in cooperation with the Beywatch project funded by the European Commission’s DG Information Society and Media.EnRiMa project is presented together with other three EU funded projects in the workshop “Challenges, Opportunities, and Lessons Learned from ongoing Research Projects”, taking place on the 24th October at 16.00.EnRiMa partner, Dr Krystsina Bakhrankova, from SINTEF Norway, will participate with a session on “DSS systems: modelling energy flows at both operational and strategic levels”, to introduce the main project’s achievements. The DSS will enable operators to control energy flows in energy-efficient buildings and areas of public use. The session will end with an open discussion around future challenges and opportunities, moderated by D’Apollonia, Italy, and coordinator of SportE2.The conference aims at providing companies, research laboratories and other organisations involved in ICT based products and services for the home with a key opportunity to meet and network, to be informed of latest promising technologies and find potential partners to initiate or strengthen projects.Building upon the success of the 2009 and 2010 editions, this year event expects many more participants and will be a great success for networking and establishing future partnerships around the themes of the parallel Scientific Workshops and exhibitions.
