The European Commission is organising, with the support of the Energy-efficient Buildings Association (E2BA), the 2nd Workshop on Impact of the EeB PPP, which will take place in Brussels on 14-15 March 2012.
The EnRiMa project consortium has been invited to participate in this 2nd workshop with presentations in two of the parallel sessions. The main topics of the event are sustainability, energy use and standardisation, as well as innovation and exploitation issues, together with other strictly selected EU funded projects (the participation in the event is by invitation only). After introducing the project goals and the results achieved so far, EnRiMa partners from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) and Minerva Consulting & Communication will focus on the foreseen impacts linked with the multi-annual roadmap. This workshop will be also the occasion to report on EnRiMa’s contribution to energy-efficiency and carbon neutrality and its main actions within thisframework. The purpose of the workshop is to enhance the cooperation links within the PPP and to facilitate an assessment of its implementation, gathering stakeholders and policy makers to discuss about measures and impacts of the energy-efficient buildings at European level. This initiative is developed within the European Economic Recovery Plan, launched in 2008 and run until 2013.Other panel discussions will focus on the added value of the PPP and on a roadmap beyond 2013.EnRiMa‘s attendance to the meeting aims at promoting the project so as to create a network specialised in the energy-efficient in buildings and to stimulate synergies all over Europe among various initiatives.
