We look forward to welcoming you to Gas Week – a week-long series of eventsorganised by GasNaturally taking place from Monday 23 April to Friday 27 April on the 3rd floor Balcony, Altiero Spinelli Building (ASP) - hosted by Prof.Vladko Panayotov MEP (ALDE, BG)Kicking off with an inauguration cocktail on Tuesday April 24th hosted by Prof. Panayotov with comments from Gaston Franco (EPP, FR) and key note speaker Director General DG ENER, Phillip Lowe along with the incoming International Gas Union (IGU) President Jérôme Ferrier.This exciting and dynamic exhibition (with 3-d images, floor projections and interactive videos) will showcase the role of natural gas in contributing to a low carbon economy, how it is an ideal partner to renewables, what its many uses are and the role of policy makers.In addition, throughout the week there will be speeches (at lunch time between committee meetings) by representatives from GasNaturally on a variety of interesting topics related to the Energy Roadmap 2050 and Europe’s future energy mix.On Thursday 25 April there will also be a European Parliament Hearing, hosted by ITRE Chairwomen MEP Amalia Sartori (EPP, IT) with presentations by industry, experts and NGO's.
