Cyber Security Seminar

This three-day program provides a detailed introduction to the discipline of cybersecurity. Participants will be shown how to mitigate a range of cyber threats, as well as how to improve privacy and security online. Further, they will apply the principles of hacking to measure their own vulnerability and that of their organisation. Guidance is also given on how to manage the physical threats to an organisation’s information assets. On completion of this course, participants will have acquired the ability to:Understand the Internet, how it works and why it is vulnerable to cyber attackMitigate the most prevalent cyber risks using essential cybersecurity best practicesApply the tools and approaches used by hackers to build a security / target profileIdentify, evaluate and mitigate digital and physical risks to one’s information assetsDevelop a business continuity plan in the event of a security incident
