In recent years EUROCHAMBRES has been promoting the use of mediation to tackle unsolved disputes and lengthy judicial proceedings that bear high costs for businesses.Mediation as a competitive tool for the European economy will be discussed at a EUROCHAMBRES event at the European Parliament in Brussels on 10 December.Representatives from the business community, mediation practitioners and policy makers will discuss the impact of a more systematic use of mediation on the European economy.The conference, organised in the framework of the “Go to Mediation!“ project co- funded by the European Union, will also be the opportunity to present the results of a two-year research on the use of civil and commercial mediation in Europe.
