EU@Work Seminar on EU Asylum and Migration policies

TEPSA is organizing a seminar on EU Asylum and Migration Policies for Master's students. Participants will gain first-hand insights from researchers, policymakers and EU officials on the current state of play of EU Asylum and Migration policies.

The seminar will be held in Brussels from Tuesday 4 December to Friday 7 December
The seminar combines lectures by leading academics and practitioners together with visits to EU institutions and think tanks. More specifically, we will visit:
➢ European Commission, Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME)
➢ Council of the European Union, General Secretariat for Home Affairs
➢ European Parliament, meeting with an MEP working on the migration portfolio
➢ European External Action Service, Division of Migration and Human Security
➢ An NGO and a Think Tank
➢ The Permanent Representation of an EU Member State

Application prodedure

To apply please send 1) your CV and 2) a cover letter explaining your motivation to participate to the email listed below.

Non-EU citizens are also encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted until 21 October (midnight).

The participation fee for the total 4-day seminar amounts to €200. Participants will receive a reimbursement for their travel and/or accommodation costs up to €200.
