MedTech Deep Dive Week: With over 2,250 startups, Dublin was ranked in the top 10 of the European Digital City Index 2016 and just outside the world’s top 20 startup ecosystems in reporting firm Compass’s Global Startup Ecosystem Ranking 2015. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Eventbrite, HubSpot, Twitter, Etsy, Amazon, Stripe and 250 more global tech companies are based in Dublin and employ thousands of techies, marketing and sales people. More than 80% of the world’s global tech companies have a base in Dublin, more than any other city in the world. We have over 450 MedTech companies with 36,000 employed, making us the second largest MedTech exporter in Europe.

This is our first Deep Dive Week (DDW) for 2019 and is targeted at Medtech startups ready to scaleup and it is taking place in Dublin as the Western Europe's 2018 first destination for Life Science companies. After a successful first year of Deep Dive Weeks, the objective is to bring together leading startups across Europe who could are looking to accelerate their international expansion. Startups will be meeting key figures of the sector and the local landscape, sharing their knowledge and working together with them to scale up their business.
The Dublin Deep Dive Week will be an action-packed programme with real benefits for scale-ups that participate, including:
This programme is part of Startup Europe - the initiative from the European Commission which aims to establish Europe as the startup continent. Selected startups will benefit from access to the larger Startup Europe network as well as be eligible to travel reimbursements related to the Deep Dive Week.
