Recent election results in Europe suggest the emergence of a disconnect between the European Union and its citizens. In this webinar, ;Carolina Plescia and Dr. James Wilhelm of the RECONNECT team at the University of Vienna discuss and present the initial findings from the first wave of their two-wave European election panel study. The aim of the data collection is to shed empirical light on the nature of any disconnect between the EU and its citizens and discuss potential policy proposals that may resonate with citizens to bridge this gap.
